Study

Batchelors degree studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and at the Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment are conducted in the Hebrew language. Starting in the 2019/20 academic year, Masters programs will be conducted in English.

Every semester some courses will be given in English, and be open to external students. Short descriptions in English of all university courses are available hereFor furthur information, contact the Registrar's office: 08-9489189. 

M.Sc. programs and short post-graduate international courses are held in English by the International School of Agricultural Sciences. MSc. programs are given in Plant Sciences, Nutrition, Animal Science,  Environmental Quality and Viticulture and Enology.

It is also possible to design an individual MSc program in English, after making contact with an advisor who will supervise research work. Information, together with forms, for applying for an individual MSc program in English is available here.

Short courses are given together with Mashav and International bodies such as ELLS. Tailored programs can be designed to meet the specific needs of groups of 15 or more in the fields researched and taught at the Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment. The programs are flexible, as is the framework and length of each program

The Rothberg International School in Jerusalem conducts year-long preparatory programs ("mechina" and "foundation year") and Hebrew language instruction ("ulpan"), both during the school year and during the summer.
