The Computer Unit at the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and the Environment provides support for all computer activities on the campus. The unit helps all users - students, administrative and academic staff.
Support is given for: networking, PC support, university accounts, backup services, online teaching, creating and maintaining web sites and more.
Students - please contact The Berel Ginges - Australia Computer Centre (farm), for help with:
user accounts and passwords (for public computers and various university systems)
university licensing software for students
connecting to the campus wireless network
connecting to databases and journals using SAMBA software.
Laboratory students who wish to connect their personal laptop to wired communication should visit the computer farm (under the cafeteria) with the laptop for registration.
The computer unit is open from Sunday to Thursday from 08:30 to 15:00 and is located on the ground floor of the Volcani building at the south-eastern end of the campus, an immediate left turn after entering campus from the main (Herzl) Gate (main gate).
