This week a unique collaboration was signed between the Hebrew University, Sapir College and Clemson University from South Carolina, which specializes in agricultural studies.

The partnership includes joint research on agricultural, nutritional and environmental challanges shared by Israel - with an emphasis on the Western Negev - and South Carolina, as well as collaboration to support Sapir College in expanding its agrotech programs.

Present at the signing ceremony were Prof. Saul Burdman, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment at the Hebrew University; representatives from Sapir College; and Ambassador Nikki Haley, a Clemson University graduate, former U.S. Ambassador to the UN, and a warm friend of Israel.
