Has the Quantity of Food Entering Gaza Met Nutritional Standards

A New Study Led by Prof. Aron Troen of the Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment, and published in the Israel Journal of Health Policy Research, found that despite the logistical challanges involved and the complex security situation, the quantities of food entering Gaza between January and July 2024 met the international humanitarian requirements for overall calories, proteins, and fats, and even surpassed them by a large margin.

At the same time, the study found the the supply of iron was below recommended standards.
