Research led by Prof. Oren Froy from the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment highlights the vital role ot the circadian clock (the biological clock) in regulating immune responses and digestive functions.
Published in Science Direct, the study shows that dusruptions in circadian rhythms worsen conditions such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
The findings emphasize the importance of treatments tailored to the body's natural cycles for better health outcomes.
