Factors Affecting Decision-Making by Farmers

A study by doctoral student Michal Morgenstern, supervised by Prof. Eyal Klement of the Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment, found that cattle farmers' vaccination decisions are largely influenced by those around them, including veterinarians and peers.

The research highlighted a significant gap between veterinarians' recommendations and farmers' understanding. The study suggests improving communication between veterinarians and farmers to ensure clear messaging.
