Who are the weeds in our fields, and why exterminate them? with Professor Baruch Robin
Talking about weeding is like walking in a dog park, you can do everything right and still find yourself in a stench.
There are also organic solutions to some of what we will talk about, but first, I would like to ask Professor Rubin some basic questions.
1. Is it possible to control weeds in a field in a way that will allow food to be produced for the growing world population without chemistry?
2. Are the sprays used in organic farming - yes, organic farmers also spray, just with other stuff - safer for human use and consumption?
3. Is organic agriculture less dangerous to the environment than conventional agriculture?
